I have a 5 year old Mini and a brand new one (haven't hooked up the new one because I have to take it to the Apple store to get the data migrated, which BTW Apple now charges $99 for, they didn't before) My problem is getting the mic to work. I am almost positive the old one does not have a built in mic, does anyone know if the new one has one? I have a headset with both the earphones and the mic that I cannot get to work. There are two jacks on the back, one for input one for output. Neither headset mic is working. I even bought an adapter with two jacks and tried that, but it doesn't work.
